This may surprise you, but dentistry was on my mind long before I entered dental school. During my freshman year of high school, I began thinking about the kind of work I wanted to pursue. Two things mattered to me: I wanted to change the lives of other people for the better, and I wanted to work with my hands. I started shadowing different medical professionals to see where those interests might lead. That experience introduced me to the unique fusion of medicine, art, and engineering that dentistry offers, and I quickly realized how naturally the profession brought all three together. Of course, I had no idea then just how far that interest would go. Dentistry would not simply become my profession; it would become my obsession. Yes, I am genuinely obsessed with teeth. My wife and friends might occasionally question this particular obsession, but I believe it is exactly what drives me to keep learning, keep improving, and give every patient the care they deserve.
Hi, I’m Dr. Shivani, and I’m so excited to be part of the team!
I grew up right here in West Windsor and went on to complete my undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. From an early age, I was drawn to both art and science, which naturally led me to dentistry. I’ve always loved working with my hands, and dentistry turned out to be the perfect blend of creativity, precision, and problem-solving.
After earning my DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, I knew I wanted to return home and give back to the community that shaped me. I’m passionate about providing dental care that’s not only high-quality, but also compassionate and personalized. For me, the best part of being a dentist is building real connections—my patients inspire me every day and motivate me to keep learning and growing.
Outside the office, I’m all about enjoying life’s little moments. I love traveling, getting lost in a good book, dancing, painting, and exploring the city with my friends (especially if there’s good food involved!).
Thanks for taking a moment to get to know me. I can’t wait to meet you and help you take the next step toward a healthier, happier smile!

I have had major anxiety going to the dentist. I feel so comfortable with Dr Sunny and his staff. Although I will always have that anxiety it is definitely not anywhere near what it use to be! Dr Sunny is truly amazing, kind and patient. He is very personable as well. The staff is great from the front desk, hygienists and check out. I have never had a bad experience! Highly recommend.
